Carol Bishop
Carol Bishop is an artist originally from Chicago who now resides in Los Angeles. The theme of place, past present and future is explored in her paintings, installations and photography. Through images of landscape and architecture, Ms. Bishop constructs both figurative and non-objective forms. She has exhibited extensively in America and Europe. Her exhibit Fantome marks the first solo exhibition by a living American woman in the Carousel de Louvre in Paris. She was the 2001 "Celebrity Artist" for the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust in Oak Park, Illinois as well as a Sony Pictures artist for their 2001 "Per Cent for Art Project" in Culver City. California. Dr. Bishop is a Senior Lecturer at Woodbury University and instructs in Studio Painting at LAVC.

Ms. Bishop's photos are exhibited at the Perfect Exposure Gallery in LA.
